We are God’s love

God is love (1 John 4:8; NLT).

We are God’s love,
God’s hands, God’s feet –
Here, in the world,
For all we meet.

We are God’s pity
And tenderness;
We are God’s touch,
To heal and bless.

We are God’s mercy,
Light, and peace –
And, though we die,
God will not cease.
